The result is a stunning 3mm knitted wire chain that is an absolute joy to work with. The 32-gauge, 99.9% copper wire is permanently enameled and is tarnish-resistant for long-lasting jewelry. Plus, the unique elasticity of the knit lends a luxurious free-flowing feel to the jewelry chain.
A custom-made machine with six tiny latch-hook needles stitches the wire into a perfectly consistent, durable chain that you can cut to any length. Pair Capture Chain with our Single-, Double-, or Triple-strand End Caps for a flawless finish on bracelets, earrings, keychains, necklaces and more. Simply place the chain inside the end cap channel and use wide nose pliers with a protective coating, such as Tool Magic, to prevent scratches or marring, to crimp the end cap.

Whether you are looking to make a bolo necklace design or a tassel using Capture Chain, our 9- or 4mm terminators are the perfect end cap to finish the raw ends of SilverSilk. Our Terminators are end caps without an attached ring, and they’re used to cleanly finish the ends of our Capture and Pearlesque chains. They are made with high-quality metal plated over a brass base and polished to perfection. These terminators are aligned with special grooves to grip the ball chain inside our Capture and Pearlesque chains. Simply press the terminator over the knitted wire end with a pair of nylon-jaw pliers for a secure and professional finish. 9mm Terminators are sold as a pair, or (two terminators), per package. The other finding you can use is our SilverSilk 20mm Slide Crimps, which are ideal for crimping multiple chains together. You can slide up to six chains together at a time within these crimps, giving you infinite color possibilities!
