Hollow Mesh: Fillable Tube

What is Capture Chain Product Guide

SilverSilk Hollow Mesh joins the strength and beauty of metal with the intricacy of a finely-woven knit tube that you can fill with beads, cording, or nearly any material up to 5mm. You can also stitch, wire wrap, or use another jewelry making technique to attach beads or other materials onto the outside of the tube. Hollow Mesh may be expanded by a millimeter or two using a dowel that’s slightly larger than the mesh. Alternatively, you can make the mesh smaller by drawing it through an acrylic draw plate. Take your next jewelry project in a new direction!

How SilverSilk Hollow Mesh is Made
SilverSilk Hollow Mesh is an inventive knitted wire chain that takes your jewelry into bold new territories. It is crafted by intricately knitting 32-gauge colorful copper wire–as fine as a strand of human hair– into a perfectly consistent, durable, hollow tube that you can cut to any length. The 99.9% copper wire is permanently enameled and tarnish-resistant, ensuring your handcrafted jewelry stays vibrant and durable over time.

Cord Ends
Pair Hollow Mesh with our custom-made 6mm Cord Ends for a flawless finish on the ends of your jewelry designs. A Cord End is a cap with a small hole in it to allow stringing material to pass through the component. Whether you use beading wire and crimps, wrapped wire loops, or another method to attach a clasp, a Cord End ensures the ends of the Hollow Mesh are beautifully contained and concealed.
