SilverSilk Color Connections Necklace and Bracelet

As crafters and jewelry makers, it's not unusual for us to hoard our precious supplies. I know I do and hang on to each scrap of SilverSilk I can get my hands on. In this video, I teach you a clever way to combine those scraps into a cohesive design using ball chain connectors. You'll be able to cheat bead weaving using a wire wrapping technique that takes minutes to execute. Have a watch with this video and add to your lexicon of techniques.

I use wire from Parawire to make the knitted chains. Their wire is top quality, they carry a wide color selection and their customer service is unbeatable. That being said, their color process and formulas can sometimes change batch-to-batch, but just by a little. Sometimes, my chains won’t match the previous batch and just wanted to let you know why. I continue to survey and control the quality of my chains and would not send anything that I personally wouldn’t use.

I used ball chain connectors to connect our color capture chains together. This method made it very easy to use my SilverSilk scraps.

Wire wrapping different shape seed beads and Czech beads around the connection helped to hide the connector and make a statement focal.
